An acclaimed senior modeler who had worked at various high profile companies like The Mill and Industrial Light and Magic, Paul Liaw has over 12 years of professional experience working various fields including commercials, TV, film, medical, games and academia.
In addition to his CG talents, Paul is also an avid 3D printing artist with a focus on jewelry design work. Paul's 3D printed work has been show at international 3D Print shows and can also be purchased at his Shapeways store.
You can see Paul's recent film work in this summer's blockbuster, "Jurrasic World". Paul modeled the Mosasaurus, and the Ankylosaurus dinosaurs.
Paul was a winner of the annual ZBrush Sculpt-Off at 3D Printer World in Burbank, Calif. The contest was centered on a Kaiju versus Jaeger theme. Paul's winning entry was a sculpture of a Kaiju creature sculpted in ZBrush and 3D Printed on full color 3D Systems 3D printers.
