"It seems the 3D Print Exporter in ZBrush is about to get a little makeover."

ZBrush being such an integral tool making 3D art, it is only natural for Pixologic to make our life 3D Printing those designs easier. Pixologic did it with making the ZBrush to Keyshot bridge. I look forward to using their "Preform Bridge" in the near future.

Getting models from ZBrush to Preform to 3D Print has its set of challenges. If these hurdles can be alleviated, that will be a great step forward for 3D Printing artists everywhere, and I cant wait to get my hands on this new plugin!

Check out what FormLabs and Pixologic have to say about the partnership.

SOMERVILLE, Mass., January 6, 2016 - Formlabs, makers of the Form 2 3D Printer, announces its first software partnership with Pixologic, makers of industry-standard digital sculpting and modeling application ZBrush, to radically simplify the 3D printing workflow. Now, character designers can easily convert their
digital creations to physical forms.

The software integration will be available for download this spring and will function as a plug-in inside of Pixologic’s ZBrush application. A demo of the integration will be on display at Formlabs’ booth at CES 2016 Las Vegas.

Tune into the Formlabs website and the CES website to see it soon!
