For those that are still attending this year's SXSW Conference & Festivals, be sure stop by the art exhibit, which features a variety of astonishing work!

Japanese artist, Akinori Goto, is showcasing 26 sculptures at the festival and his work Toki is one of the most impressive of the bunch. Goto incorporates 3D printing and stop-motion animation in this particular work. Going back to the roots of animation, Goto 3D prints a wired mesh zoetrope and when accompanied with a beam of light, brings the zoetrope to life.

Words cannot describe Goto's ingenious idea behind this technique and is worth the time to see it in action!
