A year ago, Mold3D produced it's first 3D Printing workshop event. For many people this was the first time learning about 3D Printing on a technical and artistic level. We felt it was a popular event and we are constantly asked, "When's the next one"?
So after a long wait we are proud to announce a follow up workshop! Yeah, we realize a new workshop is looooong overdue but we promise it is going to be worth the wait.
This isn't just an announcement for one workshop though, our community wants more and that's exactly what we plan to give! This year we'll be producing a series of workshops starting with Organic Creature Design for 3D Printing on April 25th-26th. This workshop will be taught by Robert Vignone and our special guest instructor Ian Joyner.
Ian Joyner is a professional concept designer, illustrator and art director working in the entertainment industry for over 10 years.
Currently Ian is the Lead Character Designer at Legacy Effects (formerly Stan Winston Studios), focusing on character design and digital sculpting/modeling.
Legacy Effects artists are known for their expertise in designing for 3D Printing, so we look forward to the wealth of information that Ian will share with the class!
About Mold3D Workshops
Our workshops are not your typical 'art demo' style events. These are serious, 2 day intense courses where you will come out knowing how to use the tools to master 3D Printing.
Working with top instructors using only the highest quality printers, our curriculum cover advanced design and modeling techniques, and teach you how to prepare your files for 3D Printing as well as how to finish your 3D Print to give it a professional surface.
If you are interested in getting ahead of the competition and fast track your learning experience, check out our programs and sign up for the next exciting event!
